Holiday Cottages
in Dorset- set in the peaceful rural Holcombe Valley near the
village of Broadmayne close to Dorset's fabulous World Heritage Jurassic Coast.
Four self catering holiday cottages converted from stone barns sleeping from
two people in the smallest cottage to seven people (plus cot) in the largest
cottage. Each cottage has an individual character with stone walls and original beams. All but the smallest cottage have cast iron woodburning stoves in their lounges and all have full gas central heating and are equiped with all that you will need for a comfortable stay in this unique part of the county. |

The cottages are located near Dorchester and Weymouth and are set in an area of outstanding natural beauty. They are surrounded by arable farm land and chalk downs. Guests can walk directly from the cottages onto bridleways and footpaths without going near a road. There is a huge variety of wildlife to be seen - deer, rabbits, hares, foxes, buzzards, pheasants ... and also an active badger set about 200 meters from the cottages. There is a lovely walk from the cottages to the inland coastal path on the the hills behind the cottages where there are magnificent views over Weymouth Bay and Portland. |  |
